Being a good host in a vacation home starts long before the guest arrives at the home. Know where the guests come from, the reason for their trip, the type of guest, friends, couple, family, in order to offer them the best welcome and that as soon as they arrive at the house, they feel at home or that they are part of the history of the dwelling they are staying in.

A good host must be attentive to the needs of their guests, answer their questions and know how to interact naturally with them. That is to say, it also requires having public relations skills, a bit of psychology and a lot of left hand. Knowing how to create a current of sympathy with your guests will earn you many points in front of them.

 

Tips to be a good host in a vacation home:

 

Everything revolves around making guests feel comfortable and for them there are several points to consider:

 

1- Deep cleaning – Everything in order.

2- An appropriately chosen decoration for the apartment, giving the accommodation its own identity.

3- Do not fail in the expectation that the guests may have, with what they have observed in the photos.

4- Make the guest feel that you are part of their vacation, that we are here to help them and make them feel that your greatest achievement is that they enjoy the accommodation.

5- Be proactive with the needs of the guest, offering indications of supermarkets, pharmacy, excursions, things that they cannot miss... etc...

6- Take care of the details. Upon arrival find a bottle of water, or the possibility of having a coffee, perhaps guests come from a long trip and want a shower, having shampoo gel is a good idea to please a guest.
